INFO and Q&A.

-
PLANNING A Show. Here is how we plan an art show. 1st step is the “Call For Artists” post. When 20 artists commit to that show then we decide the show’s date.
-
Depending on the size of your art we should be able to display 1-3 pieces per artist. Max size that can be hung is 6’ x 10’ can be hung (Horizontal). Smaller pieces of art are welcome. However, If your art is small it must be placed in a frame that is sized a 10"x12" or larger.
-
There are 3 safe & secured showcases available for 3D art. During the show's opening night the 3D will be on display in the gallery's main space.
-
READY TO BE HUNG: Your art work has to have a wire on the back. (Unless it is 3D and will be placed in one the display cases. No other forms of attaching art to the will work (D-Rings, Alligator hooks, sticky tape... will not work and cannot be used). A $10 fee per piece shall be charged if we have to make the art ready to be hung.
-
SHIPPING your artwork to the show. The artist does not have to pay a participation fee if there is one. Send me an email for shipping instructions. doogallery@yahoo.com.
-
Drop Off Dates. Typically, the Tuesday prior to a show's opening will be the only drop off day. Everyone will drop off, stay and help hang the show on the If you cannot do this on that date, you can schedule another date prior to the show, but you will have to pay $10 for not helping to hang the show. We did a test of this process for the Anniversary Art Show and it went really well. The show's art was hung quickly. There was great camaraderie and coordination between the artists. It was fun and successful and we will continue to do this moving forward
-
ART PICK UP: Each show’s Pick-Up Dates and information will be posted in the “INFO and Q&A” discussion within the show’s group for artists.
-
Your art does not have to be for sale. It can be on display only.
-
PRINTS: Original art is preferred. Prints are welcome though.
-
